Pioneers in high-end yacht audio: L-Acoustics system for Mulder 73
In November 2021, we became the very first official partner in the Netherlands of (at the time) L-Acoustics Creations, with a clear focus on high-quality audio systems for home use and yachts. Since then, we have dedicated ourselves daily to making the renowned L-Acoustics concert quality accessible to unique, exclusive environments, from luxury homes to superyachts.
The project on a Mulder 73 yacht perfectly underscores what is possible when uncompromising sound and elegant design come together.
The client approached us with a clear wish: a top-class audio system that could be fully integrated into the sleek and stylish finish of their yacht. “It has to sound like a concert hall, but look as if it isn't there.”
We invited the client to our listening room for a live demo of the combination of the L-Acoustics X4i with the compact SB15m subwoofer. The reaction was immediately convincing: “Wow, what a sound L-Acoustics manages to get out of those compact speakers.”
The solution: discreet, powerful, and professional
Following the visit, the client proceeded immediately to purchase. From our stock, we supplied:
- 4 x L-Acoustics X4i loudspeakers
- 1 x L-Acoustics SB15m subwoofer
- 1 x L-Acoustics LA2Xi amplifier/processor
The installation was subsequently carried out by the client's own team, with support from our technical experts for placement, cabling, and system calibration.
To fine-tune the performance to the yacht's acoustics, we performed detailed measurements and optimization using the L-Acoustics P1 measurement and analysis platform.
